Educational Qualification:

For Junior Research Fellow Posts:

Applicants, who are going to apply for VSSC Recruitment, must have M.Sc. Degree in Physics/Applied Physics/Space Physics /Atmospheric Science/Meteorology/ Space Science/Planetary Sciences/Astronomy/ Astrophysics or any other allied field and M. Tech in Atmospheric/Space/Planetary Sciences/Applied Physics or allied fields with minimum 60% marks from the recognized university or institute.

Applicants should also have qualified one of the following:

CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test, including NET-Lectureship.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by MHRD.

Joint Admission Test (JAM) conducted by MHRD.

Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST)

For Research Associate:

Applicants should have completed Ph.D. degree in any discipline of Science or Technology from the recognized university or institute.

Age Limitations & Salary Structure:

Research Associate	35 years as on 29.02.2016	Rs.36000/- for the first year, Rs.38,000/- for the second year and Rs.40,000/- for the third year

Relaxation in age will be given to reserved category candidates as per govt. of India Rules.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of capable contenders will be purely made on the basis of personal interview after screening of the applications which will be organized by the selection committee of the organization.

No TA/ DA will be given for attending interview.

Procedure to Apply

First of all, applicants, who are applying for VSSC Recruitment, need to fill an application form which is available on the official website that iswww.vssc.gov.in.

Then, select “All Advertisements” link and choose “JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (JRF) & RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (RA)” link.

After that, read the complete information carefully and press “view application” tab.

Enter the registration number and fill entire information in correct manner.

After filling the form, must upload photograph and scanned signature (in jpg format).

After completing of all process, press “Submit” button for the final submission of it and take hard copy of it.
