Recruitment:
A candidate for appointment as Munsiff-Magistrate by
direct recruitment shall satisff the following general conditions, namely
He/She shall be a citizen of India
He/She shall be holder of a degree in Law recognized by
the Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrollment as an Advocate
Recruitment
by Transfer:
No officer in service shall be eligible for appointment
as Munsiff-Magistrate by transfer, unless he is a holder of a degree in law
A person who is otherwise qualified for appointnent by
transfer but is not holding any of the posts enumerated below at the time of
his application for appointment by fransfer, shall be eligible for appointment
if he has held any one or more of such posts and is holding a post in a higher
scale of pay in any of the offices from which appointment is to be made. There
is no age limit for the candidates who opt for recruitment by transfer.
Age
Limit:
Age of candidates should not be less than 35 / 38 years
Relaxation in age will be given to the reserved
category applicants as per the government norms.
Salary
Structure:
Aspirants will receive monthly remuneration of Rs.
27,700 - 44,770 after selection.
Mode
of Selection:
The selection shall be on basis of a competitive
examination consisting of a written examination and a viva voice.
