Application
Fee:
Applicants are required to pay application fee of Rs.
50/- through SBI Challan through Power Jyoti Account No, 35015974955 at SBI,
Laitkor Branch, Shillong, and Code No – 13883.
No fee will be charged from candidates belonging to
Schedule Castes, Scheduled Tribes, ExServicemen, Female candidates and
candidates applying under compassionate appointment.
Selection
Process:
Selection of appliers will be based on PET / Written
test and interview conducted by selection committee of Assam Rifles.
Physical
Efficiency Test (PET) will comprise following:-
For Male Candidates- 05 Km run to qualify within 24
minutes
For Female aspirants- 1.6 Km run to qualify within 8.30
minutes.
No Physical Efficiency Test will be held for
Ex-servicemen. However, Ex-servicemen will be required to pass the requisite
Medical Examination.
The written test will comprise of paper of 100 marks.
Cut off percentage of marks for appointment is as under:-
General/Ex-servicemen - 35%
SC/ST/OBC - 33%
Salary
Scale:
Selected aspirants will be paid with the impressive Pay
scale and other allowances as decided for each post by organization.
