Required Qualification

Aspirants should have Graduation / Post Graduation Degree in Mechanical Engineering or B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from AICTE Approved Engineering College.

Age Limit:

Age of applying contestants should not be more than 28 years as on 1st March 2016.

A relaxation in age will be applicable to candidates belonging to SC / ST as per existing Govt. directives. Age relaxation of two years for women applicants will be provided.

Salary Details:

Selected applicants will receive consolidated stipend of Rs. 15000/- per month for onboard training.

Application Fee:

Contenders should have to pay application fee of:

Rs. 1000/- For General (UR) and OBC candidates

Rs.500/- For SC & ST candidates

Individuals may pay application fee through online mode using National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT).

Training and Course Fees:

For male contenders: Rs. Four lakhs

For female applicants: Rs. 3.35 lakhs

Aspirants should pay fees to the Maritime Training Institute (MTI), Powai. Fees once paid are not refundable at any stage either in full or part.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of eligible job seekers will be done on the basis of their performance in All India on line test.

Qualified aspirants in the test will be called for Personal Interview.
