Seats:
Total No. of seats for program is 60 (provisional), 25%
seats are reserved for candidates sponsored from Power utilities having more
than one year experience with a minimum of 60% marks in Engineering.
Eligibility
Criteria:
For Non-sponsored candidates:
Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree or
equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Instrumentation /
Control & Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication/Power
Engineering with minimum 60% marks in various examinations from 10th onward.
The candidates should not have more than two
supplementary/ backlog/ATKT during entire course and no backlog in last
semester
For Sponsored candidates:
Aspirants should possess Bachelor of Engineering or
equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Instrumentation /
Control & Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication/Power
Engineering with minimum 60% marks with one year experience in relevant fields.
Age
Limit:
Maximum age limit for non-sponsored candidates should
be 27 years as on 31st August 2015. No age limit for sponsored candidates.
Application
Fee:
Candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 400/-
(either Thermal or T & D) and 600/- for both courses in the form of Demand
Draft drawn in favour of “CBIP, New Delhi.
Selection
Process:
The students will be shortlisted based on merit of
marks obtained by candidates in Class 10th, 12th & engineering degree and
or GATE 2015.
