Qualification:
Candidates must have a Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in
Engineering /Technology or Five year integrated Master’s degree or Dual
Degree programme in Engineering or Technology in the disciplines of Mechanical/
Electrical/ Electronic or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized Indian
University/ Institute.
Age
Limit:
Age of appliers should not be above 27 Years i.e.
Candidates born before 01/09/1988 is not eligible to apply.
Those candidates having two years’ full time Post
Graduate in Engineering or Business Administration/ Management should be 29
years in age.
Upper age limit is relaxable for candidates as per
govt. norms.
Selection
Process:
Candidates interested in joining BHEL as Engineer
Trainee will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) –
2016. Based on the GATE-2016 Marks and requirement, candidates will be
shortlisted for interview in order of merit.
Salary
Package:
During training period, aspirants will get basic pay of
Rs 20600/-. After successful completion of training, the trainees will be
absorbed as Engineers in the scale of pay of Rs 24900- 50500/- with a basic pay
of Rs 24900/-.

Now press on Apply Online link and Fill the form with
all details and enter GATE 2016 registration number.
Upload photo and signature (if required).
Submit it after completion of form and take the
printout for future reference.

Date:
Commencement of on-line submission of applications: 4th
January, 2016.
Closing of on-line submission of Applications: 1st
February, 2016.
Last date of receipt of Ack. Slips at BHEL, BAP,
Ranipet: 8th February, 2016(15th February, 2016 - for candidates in North
East and far flung areas).
