Qualification:
Candidates who are going to apply for Chandigarh Police
Recruitment should have [passed higher secondary (10 +2) or equivalent
qualification form the recognized board/ school.
Valid driving license (Motor Car and Motor Cycle) is
mandatory for all aspirants (including ex-service man) of the concerned
licensing authority. As a onetime exception for the purpose of this recruitment
only. This condition has been waived by IG/Chandigarh in respect of female
candidates only.

Relaxation:
Relaxation up to the maximum age of 45 years for
ex-serviceman as on cutoff date prescribed for the recruitment as on 1st
January 2015.
Scale
of Pay:
Job hunters who will be selected for above mentioned
post will get the good amount of pay scale of Rs. 10, 300- 34, 800 + grade pay
of Rs. 3, 200 plus allowances sanctioned by the Chandigarh Administration time
to time.
Selection
Process:
The selection of the job hunters will be done on the
basis of their performance in Physical efficiency and measurement test followed
by written test which will be conducted by the selection committee of
Chandigarh Police.
Selection candidates on their appointment as constable
can be deployed in any unit of Chandigarh police that is police lines, Traffic,
CID, Operation Cell, security police station, IRB etc.
