Required Qualification:

Assistant Engineer	B.E. in relevant  trade / B. Tech in required branch / Auto Mobile Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Information Technology / Instrumentation Engineering / Computer Science OR A pass in Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations (A.M.I.E) under any Engineering stream
Sanitary Inspector	B.Sc. Degree (main subject Chemistry) P.G. Diploma in Sanitary Inspector course Certification in Computer course.

Age Limit:

The minimum age of the applicants should be 18 Years and the maximum age must not be exceeding from 30 years as on 01st July 2015.

Relaxation in age will be given to the SCs, SC (A)s, STs, MBCs / DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all Castes categories candidates as per the norms of the Indian government.

Salary Details:

Application Fee:

Appliers should have to pay application fee in the form of a bank Demand Draft for Rs.500/- drawn in favor of “The Commissioner, Corporation of Chennai” payable at Chennai obtained from any Nationalized Bank.

All the aspirants should write their name, post, mobile number at back side of the Demand Draft. 

Application fee will be Fully Exempted for SC’s, ST’s, Destitute Widow and Differently Abled categories Persons.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of the eligible applicants will be made in two Successive Stages i.e.:

Written Examination in OMR Format and

Oral Test

You are first required to log on to the Chennai Corporation website to apply for Chennai Corporation Recruitment which is www.chennaicorporation.gov.in

Then Select the name of the post or service for which you want to apply.

There after download the application format

After downloading the application format from the Website, you have to fill up your application by manually completing All the particulars in the application including Name of the Candidate, Post Applied, Communal Category, Educational qualification, Date of birth, Address, e-mail ID, etc..

Now you are required to affix your recent passport size color photograph with signature of the gazetted Officer in the prescribed application Form at the appropriate Box.

You must enclose self attested photo copies of the Provisional or Degree or other certificates in support of their educational qualification and ‘Community certificate’ and one passport size color photograph along with the application to the below structured address.

Now put your application with all enclosures into an envelope and write “Name of the Post” to be on the top of the envelope.

Applicants who are working in Government / Public Sector / Undertakings / Govt. Bodies must also attach a “No Objection Certificate” with the application.

Now send manually filled application along with notified enclosure through the Registered post / Speed Post / at the below expressed address.
