Educational
Qualification
For Postman/Mail Guard: Matriculation from a
recognized Board or University.
For MTS: Matriculation or ITI from a recognized
Board.
Age
limit:
Age of candidates applying for Postman/Mail Guard post
should be 18-27 years and for MTS post should be 18-25 years for General
Category (Unreserved Applicants) as on 06/02/2016.
Age relaxation is provided to persons belonging to
SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-servicemen candidates as per the extant orders.
Application
Fee:
Applicants are required to pay Rs. 100/- (plus Rs. 5/-
for e-payment commission) for all categories of applicants who have
registered.
Examination
Fee:
The Examination fee prescribed for all male applicants
in General and OBC categories is Rs. 400/-. Candidates belonging to
Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Physically Impaired/ Women are exempted
from payment of Examination Fee.
Selection
Process:
A merit list will be prepared by the organization on
the basis of marks obtained in Aptitude Test.
The applicants shall be subjected to an Aptitude Test
with total 100 maximum marks. Aptitude Test will comprise four parts.
The duration of the Aptitude Test will be for 2 hours
(120 minutes). There is no negative marking.
Pay
Scales:
Selected aspirants will get Pay Band of Rs. 5200-20200
with Rs. 2000 Grade Pay for Postman/Mail Guard and Rs. 5200-20200 with Rs. 1800
Grade Pay for the MTS + other admissible allowances.

Candidates would be required to apply only through
Online by accessing the website: www.indiapost.gov.in.
Then follow ‘Recruitment’ section and press on link as
‘Direct Recruitment Examination of Postman/Mail Guard/MTS under Jharkhand
Circle’.
Then Press on “Application form link” and select the
suitable post for which you want to apply to fill online form.
Fill all asked details in e application and upload your
recent passport size photograph and signature in prescribed size.
After completion of form submit it successfully.
After successful submission of online application form,
candidates should pay required fee.
