Every year Indian Air Force invites unmarried male citizens of India and Nepal born to join as an Airman in Group X (Technical) Trades and Group Y (Non-Technical) Trades.
Process to download (Group X & Y) Exam Hall Ticket:
- Candidates can download Call Letter from its official website by following these steps:
- Candidates have to first visit the site of organization that is airmenselection.gov.in
- On home page of official site follow “To download Airmen selection test admit card (Revised)” and hit “Select Here” link.
- Now hall ticket page will be displayed on your computer screen.
- Follow that link and enter the required details such as Unique Registration Number, Password, Captcha Image and Captcha Code.
- After that press “Download” link, your admit card will open on system screen.
- You can save it or take the print out of it for future use.
About Organization:
The Indian Air Force is also known as IAF and it was recognized in 8 October 1932 and it is the air arm of Indian armed forces. The Indian Air Force is the World's fourth largest Air Force. Its chief duty is to protect Indian airspace and to perform aerial warfare during a conflict. The Indian Air Force gives close air support to Indian Army troops in the battlefield and also gives planned and strategic airlift abilities. It also gives infantry and weaponry transportations or secondary Airlift for the Indian Army.
Candidates who are going to appear in exam can download their admit card through online process. Selection of aspirants as Group X & Y will be based on Verification of Eligibility, Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Interview and Medical Examination.
