IIIT Delhi Admission Form 2016: Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi is inviting IIT Delhi Admission Form. Students who want to take admission in M.Tech & PhD courses in different discipline may apply for IIIT Delhi Admission. Candidates may fill IIIT Delhi Online application form through online mode till date of closing that is shaped below. Written test and Interview will be held on scheduled date to test skills of candidates.

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi is also known as IIIT Delhi and it was formed as a State University by an act of Delhi Government empowering it to do research and development and grant degrees. IIIT-Delhi was formally recognized on 10th June, 2008 in the Delhi Gazette.

Eligibility Criteria:

For M.Tech Programmes:

Candidates are required to possess B.Tech/ BE in CS/ IT/ Math-and-Computing with at least 6.5 out of 10 or 65% in B.Tech/ BE and 60% in all previous degrees including 10+2 from recognized university or institute with  a valid GATE score (2015/2016).

For PhD Programmes:

For CSE/ ECE Students:

Candidates should have degree of BTech/ BE/ MTech/ MS/ ME in CS/ IT/ ECE/ EE with CGPA at least 7.5 on a scale of 10 or MSc in Mathematics with at least 70% marks in both B.Sc and M.Sc from recognized University Or Institute.

For Mathematics Students:

Students should possess BTech/ MTech/ BE / ME in CS/ ECE/ Maths & CS and similar inter-disciplinary programs with CGPA at least 7.5 on a scale of 10/ MSc in Mathematics with At least 70% marks in both B.Sc. and M.Sc. from concern Institution.

Fee Required:

• Candidates who are applying for M.Tech courses should pay Rs. 350/- at time of filling application form. Fee should be paid through online mode.
• The fee for the entire M.Tech program is Rs 2.5 Lac.

Selection Process:

For M.Tech Programmes:

1st Stage: In first stage candidates will be shortlisted on basis of their marks in GATE Exam and academic records in preceding qualification like (B.Tech/ BE, 10+2). About 80 candidates will be shortlisted for second stage.

2nd Stage: Those who will qualify First stage will be called for written exam. In this stage mathematics, analytical abilities and comprehension skills will be checked of candidates. About 50 candidates will be selected 3rd stage.

3rd Stage: In this stage candidates have to appear interview, which will be taken by the IIIT Delhi Faculty members.

For PhD Programmes:

For PhD (ECE):

Candidates will be selected on basis of their performance in written test and Interview. test and interview will be held on 9th April 2016 at IIIT-Delhi. Written test will be held in two parts.

For PhD (Mathematics):

For PhD (Mathematics) candidates are not required to appear written test. Selection of aspirants will be done according to their performance in Interview, which will be held on 9th April 2016.

Students who meet with the eligibility criteria may apply for IIIT Delhi Admission Form through online mode by following below given details.

• Go to the official site of Indraprastha institute of information technology Delhi which is iiitd.ac.in.
• Press ‘Admission’ tab that is available at the top menu bar.
• Follow ‘M.Tech 2016’ ‘PhD Admission’ from left side of home page and choose link ‘M.Tech Admission Details’ or ‘Admission 2016’. 
• Now choose link to apply online and fill IIIT Delhi application form carefully with all asked details.
• Download recent passport size photograph and make payment of Fee.
• After completing online application submit it within given time period.
• At last take print out of application form for future use.
