VITMEE 2016: Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai has issued a notification regarding VITMEE. VITMEE is a Master’s Entrance Examination and a PG Level Entrance Examination. VIT University is going to conduct VITMEE Exam for the candidates who want to take admission in MCA / M.Tech courses. The Candidates who have completed their Graduation and now want to take admission in Vellore University can now apply for this Exam. Eligibility Criteria:

For MCA:

Students who want to take admission in MCA must have a Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of Minimum 3 year duration in BCA, B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level and must be obtained at least 60% at the qualifying Examination.

For M.Tech:

Students who want to take admission in M.Tech must have a Degree of B.E / B.Tech in any Branch / M.S / M.Sc / MCA or others with minimum of 60 % or equivalent in their respective undergraduate degrees.

Application Fees:

Students need to pay an application fee of Rs.950/-. Application Fees can submit Only through Online mode (Net banking / Debit card / Credit card).

Selection Procedure:

Admission process is done on merit basis, through the online entrance exam name as Vellore Institute of Technology Master’s Entrance Exam. Students will get admissions according to their marks in VITMEE 2016 Exam.

Exam Pattern:

• The paper will consist of 100 questions, with the total of 100 marks in which 80 questions from technical and 20 Questions from English communication.
• The paper will be computer based test (CBT), the questions will be English mode only.
• The time duration for the paper will be 2 hours and there will be no negative marking in the exam.  

How to Apply for VITMEE Application Form?

• Interested aspirants need to fill the application form by go through the official website that is www.vit.ac.in.
• Then go to “Admissions” Section and Select “Post Graduate” link which is visible on the home page.
• Now press “Apply Online” tab and fill the complete details regarding your personal details.
• After that you have to register yourself by login your Account.
• Upload your recent photographs along with signature according to the instructions.
• Make the payment of fee through Payment Gateway.
• After Completion of Application form Press “Submit” tab and take the printout of duly filled application form for future use.
