Eligibility Criteria for Ministry of Culture Jobs:

Officers under the Central / State Governments / Union Territories / Autonomous Organization / Research Institutions including Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor or equivalent of Universities must be holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department.

OR

Having two years service in grade rendered after appointment there to on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2, Rs.9300-34800/- with grade pay of Rs. 4800 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;

OR

Candidates with three year’s service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band -2, Rs.9300-34800/- with grade pay of Rs. 4600 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; and possessing below given educational qualifications and experience can apply for this post.

Essential Qualification:

Applicants who wish to apply must have Master’s Degree in Fine Arts or Art History & Criticism or Museology from a recognized University with at least three years of working experience in organizing exhibitions or production and publication of books & Journals on Indian Art or teaching Museology or History of Art or Fine Arts in a large Museum / Gallery / Organisation / Educational Institution.

Desirable Qualification:

If the applying candidate is having Degree / Diploma / Certificate in any Foreign Language other than English from a recognized University / Institution with Research experience supported by published works in the field of Art & Culture then he / she will be given preference for the aforesaid post.

Age Limit:

Maximum age limit of applying candidate for appointment shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.

Salary Structure:

Selected candidates for Ministry of Culture Vacancy will be getting the suitable amount of monthly salary of Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-.
