UGC NET Eligibility Criteria:

Aspirants who want to apply should possess Master’s Degree OR its qualification with minimum 55% marks from recognized universities / institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. (are eligible for this Test.

Aspirants who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test.

The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991 can get relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks.

Examination Fee:

For General Category Candidates: Rs. 600/-

For Other Backward Classes Candidates: Rs. 300/-

For SC/ ST/ PwD Category Candidates: Rs. 150/-

Mode of Payment:

Fee should be paid either by credit/ debit card or through e-challan generated during the online filling of the application form.

Credit card: - 1.20% of the examination fee plus the service tax as applicable.

Debit Card: - 0.75% of examination fee plus the service tax as applicable

Mode of Selection:

Selection of aspirants will be done on basis of their performance in CBSE UGC NET Exam. According to marks in this test merit list will be prepared.

Examination Schedule:

Second	II	100	50 questions all are  compulsory	1¼ Hours (11:15 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.) IST
Third	III	150	75 questions all are  compulsory	2½ Hours (02:00 P.M. to 04:30 P.M.) IST

Candidates should visit the official site that is cbsenet.nic.in.

On home page of official site select and hit the appropriate link to apply online about “UGC NET Jan 2017”.

Read all details, press option button and press tab ‘Proceed to Apply Online’.

Now fill online application form with required details.

Upload the scanned image of passport size photograph and signature.

Pay your application fee as mentioned above.

At last check form at once and press “Submit” button.

At last, take print out of the duly filled application form for future use.
