Qualification Required

For the post of Junior Research Fellow: 

M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/Genetic & Plant breeding/ Seed Technology with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree

Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences in above subjects with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and

2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.

For the Sr. Research Fellow post:

M.Sc. in Plant Pathology with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree

Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences in above subjects with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and

2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.

Age Limitation:

The age limitation for the candidates applying for SRF Post is 35 years and 30 years for JRF post.

Relaxation of 5 years for Women candidates and relaxation to reserved category candidates as per GOI/ ICAR rules.

Salary Structure:

Candidates selected for the Vacancy in DRMR will get an amount of Rs. 25,000/- + HRA (Fixed) without DA for SRF & JRF Jobs.

Selection Procedure:

The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance at the time of Walk-in .

Candidate should bring original Certificates, Degree with one set of photocopies, two passport size photographs

No TA/DA shall be given for attending the interview
