Essential Qualification:

Candidates should have Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and

Registration as Medical Practitioner in West Bengal.

One Year’s practical training as House Staff in any Govt. Hospital or other recognized Institution.

Limitation of Age:

Age of the participants who are willing to apply for above mentioned post should not be more than 32 years as on 1st. January, 2015.

Age is relaxable to those who served on contractual basis under Government of West Bengal, to an extent equivalent to the period of such full time contractual engagement, subject to a maximum of three years.

Age is also relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST category aspirants of West Bengal, by 3 years for OBC contenders of West Bengal and up to 45 years of age for persons having physical disabilities for 40%.

Scale of Pay:

Candidates who are appointed for WBHRB Recruitment, will get the impressive and attractive pay scale of Rs. 15, 600/- - Rs. 42, 000/- with PB 4A, Grade Pay of Rs. 5, 400/- and NPP & other allowances will also be admissible as per Government order in force.

Job hunters need to pay the application fee of Rs. 210/- through Bank Counter in any branch of Banks participating in the GRIPS (Government Receipt Portal System), Govt. of West Bengal through duplicate challan, as generated after filling up the online application Form. Govt. Receipt Head of Account is ‘0051-00-104- 002-16’.

Application received after the closing date shall be rejected.

The selection of the job seekers will be done on the basis of their performance in written examination and interview which will be conducted by the selection committee of West Bengal Health Recruitment Board.
