Essential Qualification:

Aspirants going to apply for West Bengal Civil Service (Exe) posts must have a degree from a recognized University.

Candidates must have a ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required in the case of Nepali speaking candidates of the three Hill Subdivisions of Darjeeling District, viz., Darjeeling Sadar, Kalimpong and Kurseong).

Relaxation in Age:

Upper age limit is relaxable for S.C., S.T. & B.C. candidates of West Bengal, by 5 years for S.C. & S.T. candidates and by 3 years for B.C. candidates. In case of Persons with Disabilities (PWD), the upper age limit is relaxable upto 45 years.

Application Fee:

Candidates who are going to apply for this Recruitment need to pay Rs. 200/- only + Service Charge through debit/credit card/ Net Banking/ Bank Counter (off-line payment).

SC/ ST candidates of West Bengal and PWD having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee.
