Essential Qualification:

Applying contenders should have done Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and relevant years of teaching / industrial / research experience, of which respective years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.

Salary Details:

Selected applicants will obtain salary in Pay Band-4 (Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP-Rs.9500/-).

For direct recruits, minimum pay in the PB-4 to be fixed at Rs. 42,800/- and All other allowances are admissible as per institute rules.

Selection Process:

Eligible job seekers will be called for the interview as are found suitable for being considered by the Selection Committee of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee.

Under the ‘Register yourself’ enter the required entries and after completing all the details press the ‘register’ button.

Thereafter under ‘Login’ section given at the right side of that page fill your Username and Password in the provided space and submit it by hitting the ‘log in’ tab.

You may also upload digital images of required documents, recent passport size photograph and signature (if required) and submit it for the final submission.

At last you may take a print out of that application for future need.
